March 2024 Newsletter
DIRECTOR’S THOUGHTS, MARCH 2024
March gets us BUICK enthusiasts closer to the beginning of the car season! Hopefully future threats of snow in March will no longer be but it’s all up to Mother Nature, right? Here and there, there are inside car events that are going on in March. One of these events is the Ontelaunee Region AACA Swap Meet at the Leesport Farmers Market, Leesport, PA on Sunday, March 3rd. There are inside and covered outside vendor spaces, besides a car corral. Hopefully the weather will be decent for this event.
Daylight Savings time takes place on Sunday, March 10th. So, when you turn in for the night on Saturday, March 9th, remember to turn your clocks ahead 1 hour. Now, in today’s world of technology, many of you won’t have to do this due to the airwaves in the atmosphere will automatically do this for you. It takes away our responsibility of doing it ourselves, not always a good thing.
For those members who have an Irish ancestry background, “HAPPY ST. PATRICK’s DAY” to you!!! Sunday, March 17th will be a holiday to celebrate the Irish!!
No matter what will happen for you this month, stay warm, safe, healthy, and HAPPY!! Sometimes people become somewhat depressed due to the unsteady and unpredicted weather, but YOU GOT THIS!! Keep busy and keep smiling, SPRING is on its way! Your Elected Director, Sally
