DIRECTOR’S THOUGHTS – OCTOBER 2021
“HAPPY FALL” everyone. It is now 1 month since my retirement from LVHN/CC (September 2nd). So far, it is going GREAT!! Extended family stopped by my place on their way to and from Maine for their vacation; John Moore, Brent and I are selling several car parts to MASS and Pottsville; I attended the West End Fair in Gilbert, Pa.; decorated my home and the store windows for Halloween; I enjoyed a day at the Green Dragon, Ephrata, Pa.; and Kathleen Duckett and I will enjoy an over night weekend tour to Cape May, New Jersey w/ the Ontelaunee Region AACA latter dates in September. I feel like I am on a vacation, which I really am, but a very very long vacation!!
The only downside of this thus far, my mother of 89 years of age may be diagnosed with cancer. My family is waiting on biopsy reports. Please keep my mother, Marion, in your prayers, thank you.
Please note the following:
1) Octobers chapter meeting will be held on Monday, October 4th.
2) Come prepared to give your nominations for Officers and BOD’s. If you are unable to attend Octobers chapter meeting, please give your nominations to Sally and she will voice them during the meeting.
3) Sign up for the 45th Annual Old Car Show, Lehighton, PA on Sunday, October 31st.
4) Be sure to save the Annual Holiday Gathering date, Tuesday, December 7th, on your calendar.
Your elected Director, Sally
